The
Learning Garden needs the ongoing support of numerous
individuals, organizations, and the community,
both at the garden and financially. Our funding
is not guaranteed from any single source, so fundraising
is an ongoing activity. When you make a donation,
we use the money for a variety of purposes. For
example, monies are used to provide a stipend
for our Garden Master, to expand our website into
a well-rounded educational tool, to match grant
monies that fund projects such as the Food Forest
(see Partners & Process),
to provide workshops and classes to the community,
to buy water for our volunteers. The list goes
on. Your donation can be designated for a specific
purpose or for general use. Either way, your donation
is an investment in a healthier future and a stronger,
more beautiful community. |
